KAMPAR, PERAK – November 30, 2023 – In a landmark move towards redefining the landscape of education and industry collaboration, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and IP ServerOne proudly announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The ceremony, held at UTAR Kampar, Perak, on November 30, 2023, marks the initiation of a partnership aimed at bridging the gap between academia and practical industry applications.
The MoU serves as a testament to IP ServerOne’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), reflecting a shared dedication to giving back to society. The collaboration aims to create a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas and facilities between UTAR and IP ServerOne, fostering mutual visits, facilitating industrial study experiences for students, and identifying avenues for skill training crucial for workforce development.

To intensify this partnership, IP ServerOne introduces the “IP ServerOne Cloud for Students” program. This program empowers UTAR students and educators with MYR600 cloud credit for six months and access to a variety of cloud services, catalyzing creativity and unlocking the potential of students, allowing them to design and implement solutions needed by small and medium enterprises, such as ERP systems, databases, and e-commerce websites.
“Our goal is to provide students with real-world experience, going beyond mere internships. They’ll have the opportunity to troubleshoot, learn from our engineers and specialists, and be fully prepared to join the workforce,” notes Mr. Lee Cheung Loong, Managing Director of IP ServerOne.
